Club Facilities

Kestrel operate from what must be the last remaining Bessonneau hanger in use dating back to WW1. The original canvas skins have been replaced with new material produced by Rubb Buildings Ltd to the original designs.

Adjacent to the hanger we have two small aircraft workshops and clubhouse providing Classroom, Kitchen and Bar facilities.

Launching is provided by a Gas powered Skylaunch and a Tost Diesel, while ground support is provided by Gas powered Rangerover and Landrovers.

Visiting Glider pilots are requested to contact the club prior to starting your flight to check for RAF and Farnborough Movements, the club operates on 122.1Mhz. Callsign: Kestrel Base
